Overview

The Gums Anchorage overlooks the Pumicestone Passage at Sylvan Beach, Bribie Island which was named Queensland's Friendliest Beach in 2003. Along the foreshore are landscaped parks with children's playgrounds and BBQs.

The Accommodation is all 2 and 3 bedroom units and all have water views. They are spacious with ensuites and full bathrooms. Mid level and top floor units have private balconies with private BBQ. The ground floor units have a terrace that flows through to the well manacured lawns. The latter have no steps and therefore suitable for disabled persons. The kitchens are well equipped and furnishings are stylish and comfortable.

Within this landscaped, gum-treed retreat is a full size tennis court, putting green, salt water pool and sauna. Nearby there is a golf links and golf course, 3 bowls clubs, RSL, shops and restaurants.

The Gums Anchorage Apartments were a well kept secret until guests discovered what a great place it is to stay. It accommodates guests for extended holidays as well as special weekend breaks to take advantage of all that Bribie Island offers - bush walking in the Pumicestone National Park, seeing the natural beauty of the Pumicestone Passage Marine Park etc.
