Spicy Oasis is offering three enchanting Mediterranean style cottages decorated with influences from Morocco, Greece and Spain.

Resting flawlessly around a tranquil small lake amid 20 acres of organically managed rambling gardens, fruit orchard, self seeding veggies and a few acres of private rainforest backing on to a National Park, the cabins are truly an oasis of peace and quiet.

For those who wish to enhance their health and wellbeing, Tony, with 20 years of experience, is offering his services as qualified naturopath, homeopath, herbalist, nutritionist and Bowen therapist (health fund rebates available). Or soak in the serenity and leave all your troubles behind with one of Irena's therapeutic and fabulously relaxing remedial massages.

Whatever you decide to do, you quickly find yourself falling under the Spicy Oasis magical spell. These charming, relaxed and utterly romantic cabins make for a deliciously different Sunshine Coast hinterland hideaway.

Travel Directions

From Brisbane & Brisbane Airport

Travel North from Brisbane on the Bruce Highway towards the Sunshine Coast.

Turn left onto the Glasshouse Mountains Tourist Route (Steve Irwin Way).

Turn left at Landsborough and continue on up to the top of the Blackall Range, driving through the township of Maleny in the direction of Kenilworth.

Eight kms out of Maleny turn right onto Curramore Road and a further two kms along turn right onto Kidaman Creek Road.

From there 400m on your left you will arrive at the entrance of Spicy Oasis

From the Sunshine Coast

Follow the Bruce Highway South then turn right at the Landsborough turn off.

Continue up through Maleny as per the above directions.

From the Gold Coast

Head North to Brisbane on the M1 Motorway.

Turn left off the Motorway at exit 16 to go onto the Gateway Motorway.

Then turn onto the Gateway Bridge (Toll bridge) toll cost is $2.60, and drive over the Gateway Bridge.

Head North from the Gateway Bridge along the Sunshine Motorway, and onto the Bruce Highway towards the Sunshine Coast.

Then as per the above directions.

Things To Do

Maleny's cool clean mountain air, scenic drives and sparkling views from many lookouts draw people from far and near.

Wine tasting, swimming at the pristine Gardener's Falls or relaxing with a picnic at Lake Baroon are just a few of the many fantastic ways to enjoy the hinterland.

A short drive away is the beautiful Maleny town, whose quaint charm, chic cafés & restaurants, galleries and art & craft shops offer a wonderful shopping experience.

For the more energetic, why not explore the rainforests of the National Parks following many of the Great Walks available.
