With the Pacific Ocean on one side and beautiful Pumicestone Passage on the other, Bribie Island offers a picture-perfect holiday location less than an hour's drive from Brisbane. Pumicestone Passage is an internationally recognised marine park home to dugongs, dolphins and turtles, as well as a variety of birdlife. It lends itself to all types of water-based activities, not the least of which is safe family swimming and a range of eco-based activities and tours. From bushwalking, birdwatching and big game fishing through to shopping and fine dining, at Placid Waters there is something for everyone.

Children and Extra Guests Details

Please advise reception if you require air-conditioning in your unit. A fee of $5 per night will apply.

Rates based on 4 guests per apartment. 1 additional person can be accomodated at a cost of $20 for adults and $15 for children per night.

Car Parking Details

Basement undercover security parking, with one parking space per unit.

Access height to undercover car parking is 1.9mtrs, good off street parking in the area also available.

Travel Directions

- Less than an hours drive from Brisbane Airport, exit off Bruce Highway past BP Caboolture, approx 21 km to Bribie Island bridge.

Turn right at the first roundabout over the bridge, left turn into Welsby Parade, follow for approximately 2 km to Placid Waters Holiday Apartments.

- Train to Caboolture station and bus service to Bribie Island.
