Things To Do
For entertainment the cottages feature a CD player, flat-screen High Definition TV and Blu-Ray DVD player.
Go strawberry picking (May-November) at one of the local self-pick farms.
You are close enough to civilisation to pop out to the nearby country pub or local restaurants. Some of the pubs and RSLs offer a pick-up service (mainly at weekends). Or you can venture further afield to the bright lights of Caloundra, Mount Mee, Maleny or Maroochydore for fine dining.
Do some walks around (or up) the Glasshouse Mountains (see Qld National Parks and Wildlife). There are plenty to choose from. You can even walk in 10 minutes to the main scenic lookout for the Glasshouse Mountains.
Glide over Glasshouse on a balloon flight with Skydrifter Balloons. This must be the best possible way to see the wonderful shapes of these spectacular mountains.
Visit the late Steve Irwin's famous Australia Zoo.
Play 18-holes of golf at Woodford, Beerwah (15 mins), or Caloundra (25 mins).
Visit the Caloundra markets every Sunday (25 mins), or the famous Eumundi markets (Wed and Sat).
