Crookneck retreat is located at the base of Mt Coonowrin(Crookneck) one of the National Heritage listed Glasshouse Mts. It also backs onto a national park, giving the property the diversity of native fauna and flora while nestled amongst 10 acre orchard farm. Including Macadamia, Pecan, Mangoes and Native bush fruit.

The spectacular views and the mystical legends of Glasshouse Mountains make it a must see destination. Glasshouse brings you back to nature giving you a tranquil laidback setting less than one hour drive north of Brisbane. Glasshouse is central to both the golden beaches of Sunshine Coast and the many quaint historical towns of the hinterland.

Mountain Cabin will take your breath away with the spectacular view of Crookneck Mountain. Sit on the deck or sip some champagne in your double spa while watching the ever-changing mood of the mountain.

Mountain cabin is a Luxury romantic place to rejuvenate and unwind. Having all the modern conveniences and enjoying the special little touches making your getaway a memorable one. Mountain Cabin is a luxury fully self-contained cabin. With a touch of modern style, hardwood floors and French doors that open onto the deck giving the feeling of bringing the outside in. It is open plan yet cosy with a slow combustion fireplace, air-conditioner, double spa, queen size bed, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, ensuite, refrigerator, stove and BBQ on the deck.

Wake up with the sounds of the bush, the songs of the birds and the peace and quite of country living. Wander through the tropical and native fruit trees and try the different fruits or maybe pick-up a macadamia or two. There is much to do, or nothing to do the choice is your when you come to Crookneck retreat.

CrookNeck Retreat is about 1 hour from Brisbane CBD

Follow the Bruce H/way north and exit Steve Irwin way (Glasshouse Mts rd)

Exit left at the Glasshouse township, follow the road over the railway and turn left onto Coonowrin rd.

At the end of Coonowrin rd turn right onto Old Gympie rd and follow approx for 2km until you reach CrookNeck Retreat

Or for those wanting something a little more strenuous maybe a trail run with your experienced host Brett. 100-mile race happens every year in Glasshouse and attracts people from around the world.

Glass House Mountain Trail Runs

Climb a Mountain and experience the panoramic views of the Glasshouse mountains. There are many climbs for all levels. Mt Ngungun provides a reasonably easy climb, while Mt Beerwah and Mt Tibrogargan are for the more experienced.

Pack your camera and capture the ever-changing Glasshouse Mts. Stop at the many street stalls and purchase fresh produce and maybe even pick strawberries when in season.

Take a scenic drive no more then 25mins to Montville or Maleny and enjoy the art galleries or the quaint little shops.

Experience the amazing Sunshine Coast only 20mins drive. Golden Beaches, Shopping and Funky Cafes.

Country living at its best, getting back to nature, whilst only a 20min drive to the hinterland or 20min to the fast pace of the Sunshine Coast.
