For Cororate Business Client's our reliable message service, fax service and wireless broadband internet access, ensure staying on business is as effective as it is pleasant. To impress your clients, business breakfast meetings are available on arrangement.

Check In Instructions

Check in time is 2.00pm till 8.00pm, although an estimated time of arrival is required upon booking.

Check out time is 10.30am. Late check out times can be arranged in advance but will include an extra charge.

Children and Extra Guests Details

Avon Lodge is an adult only accommodation. Young adults from the age of 15 years and over accompanied by there parents are welcome.

Unfortunately we do not take children under the age of 15 years.

Car Parking Details

On Street parking is available at all times.. Driveway or garden frontage parking is available after dark.

Travel Directions

By car travel north on the Bruce Highway following signs for the the Sunshine Coast.

Take the Bribie Island exit and follow Bribie Island Road.

On the Island take the first exit at the second roundabout (Sunderland Drive) following signs for Banksia Beach.

After approx 3km turn right into Avon Avenue, Avon Lodge is at the very end of Avon Avenue (no.132) just before the Golf Course on the right.

By train from Brisbane Central Station to Caboolture, catch the Bribie Island train link bus straight to the island. Total trip takes about one and a half hours. Cost approx $15.00

Things To Do

Bribie Island is Australia's latest tourist discovery. This unspoilt "jewel of the sea" linked to the mainland by bridge, is only 50 minutes north of Brisbane CBD and Airport.

This sub-tropical paradise offers total relaxation, a harmony of nature, wildlife and bird life. Forestry and National Parks cover 80% of the Island in which Kangaroos, Emus and Dingos make there home.

There are endless kilometres of pure white sandy beaches for swimming, clear waters for boating and fishing, bush walking, cycling, tennis, crochet and bowls.

Water Sports Bribie Island offer a variety of water sport activities and Ecotours.

Pumistone Passage is a beautiful passage of water that separates Bribie Island from the mainland and is a protected National Marine Park. With natural bush growing to the edge it is home for more than 350 species of bird life.

These living waterways are also home to a variety of marine life such as Dugong, Dolphins and Loggerhead Turtles, all of which cause great excitement when they are sighted.

"Ferryman Cruises" along the passage are available to allow visitors to appreciate the wildlife and spectacular scenery. and we are more than happy to book these for you.

The passage is also a popular spot for amateur fishing, either from the beach, local jetty, or from a boat, and boat hire is readily available for the keen fisherman.

For the golfing enthusiasts there are two world class golf courses where you can improve your handicap - Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club and Bribie Island Golf Club.

For those guests who wish to visit some of Queenslands famous tourist spots such as Australia Zoo, Etamoga pub, Eumundi Markets, The Ginger Factory, Glasshouse Mountains, and Montville & Maleny villages and wineries.
